THE PEARLS OF THE SOUTHERN CARIBBEAN
South of Martinique lie some of the most beautiful sailing grounds in the world. The Chronos sails to St Vincent, where Wallilabou Bay was the set for "Pirates of the Caribbean", and on to the Grenadines: Bequia with its wonderful beaches and exclusive Mustique with the legendary Basil's Bar.
On the ten-day departures the ship also anchors at the Tobago Cays, a protected reef with sea turtles and crystal-clear water. On the way back St Lucia awaits with the iconic Pitons, the botanical garden with waterfall or Marigot Bay. The New Year departure celebrates the turn of the year with a festive dinner on board.
THE ROUTE

Departure from Martinique and south past St Lucia to St Vincent and Wallilabou Bay.
The Grenadines
Bequia, Mustique and on the longer voyages the Tobago Cays: swimming, snorkelling and walking on white beaches.
St Lucia and back
The Pitons, Soufrière or Marigot Bay, and back to Martinique.
EXTRA INFORMATION
LIFE ON BOARD
The Chronos is a 54-metre Bermuda ketch with 1,000 m² of sail and reaches up to 15 knots: one of the fastest and most beautiful large sailing yachts. She was designed by Klaus Röder, built by the Ark Yacht yard in Bodrum and has sailed since 2013. A crew of ten takes care of sailing, galley and service. There are thirteen twin cabins for up to 26 guests, all with adjustable air conditioning and private bathroom: ten Deluxe cabins of 12 to 13 m² with separate beds or a double bed, two Long cabins of 11 m² with a double bed and a master cabin of 14 m². The large deck has plenty of seating and dining areas; below deck there is a saloon and a bar. The pace is relaxed: sailing by day from bay to bay or island to island, with time to swim from the ship, go ashore and enjoy the deck. You are always welcome to help with the sails, but you do not have to. The route is indicative and depends on wind and weather.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between departures?
The ten-night voyages also visit the Tobago Cays; the shorter voyages of seven to nine nights sail via Bequia and Mustique. The Christmas and New Year departures have a festive programme on board.
Do I need to be able to sail?
No. The permanent crew sails the ship; you may help, but you do not have to.
Do we go ashore every day?
Usually, but wind and weather decide the programme. There is also plenty of time to swim from the ship.
How do I book this trip?
Send us a request through the booking form on this page. Together we will check availability, your choice of cabin and the next steps.
The trip description and route are indicative. The programme depends on weather, wind and sea conditions; the captain has the final say on the route and ports.
