A VOYAGE FOR CONNOISSEURS
The north coast of Sardinia is one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. The wildly romantic Costa Smeralda and the large nature park of the Maddalena archipelago, where the water shines in every shade of blue, are a paradise for swimming and snorkelling.
Across the Strait of Bonifacio the Chronos sails to the imposing port town of Bonifacio on Corsica, high on its white limestone cliffs, and then back to Sardinia.
THE ROUTE
Costa Smeralda
Boarding in Golfo di Marinella and along the Emerald Coast.
La Maddalena
Anchoring among the granite islets of the national park.
Bonifacio and back
The citadel of Bonifacio and back to Sardinia.
EXTRA INFORMATION
LIFE ON BOARD
The Chronos is a 54-metre Bermuda ketch with 1,000 m² of sail and reaches up to 15 knots: one of the fastest and most beautiful large sailing yachts. She was designed by Klaus Röder, built by the Ark Yacht yard in Bodrum and has sailed since 2013. A crew of ten takes care of sailing, galley and service. There are thirteen twin cabins for up to 26 guests, all with adjustable air conditioning and private bathroom: ten Deluxe cabins of 12 to 13 m² with separate beds or a double bed, two Long cabins of 11 m² with a double bed and a master cabin of 14 m². The large deck has plenty of seating and dining areas; below deck there is a saloon and a bar. The pace is relaxed: sailing by day from bay to bay or island to island, with time to swim from the ship, go ashore and enjoy the deck. You are always welcome to help with the sails, but you do not have to. The route is indicative and depends on wind and weather.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. The permanent crew sails the ship; you may help, but you do not have to.
Do we go ashore every day?
Usually, but wind and weather decide the programme. There is also plenty of time to swim from the ship.
