VOYAGE DESCRIPTION
The voyage begins in Lisbon, a city of explorers with deep maritime roots. Before boarding, guests can enjoy the historic Alfama district or a stroll along the Tejo waterfront.
Once underway, the Santa Maria Manuela heads south, following the Iberian coast past the golden cliffs and whitewashed towns of the Algarve.
During the voyage, the crew will invite you to take part in the sailing experience—hoist and trim the sails, take the helm, join knot-tying workshops, or even climb the mast.
Whether you're eager to get hands-on or prefer to relax and observe, there's space aboard for both active learning and quiet reflection. The journey ends in Málaga, where the Mediterranean light welcomes you. Known for its Moorish history and vibrant streets, it’s a city full of color and character.

On the Santa Maria Manuela, we offer a variety of cabin types across two decks. Our double bed cabins and bunk bed cabins are designed for two people but can also be booked by a solo traveler for an additional single supplement. All cabins come with a private bathroom and shower. Please review the information below and here to select your preferred option.
- Master Cabin: Features a double bed and a sofa bed that converts into a bunk bed. It accommodates 2 to 4 people, making it a great option for families. (Bed dimensions: Double bed - 1.60m W x 1.85m L; Bunks - 0.80m W x 1.85m L).
- Double Bed Cabins: Equipped with one double bed. (Bed dimensions: 1.60m W x 1.85m L).
- Bunk Bed Cabins: Includes a bunk bed for 1 or 2 people. (Bed dimensions: 0.80m W x 1.85m L).

Santa Maria Manuela
Bouwjaar 1937
The Tall Ship Santa Maria Manuela is a four-mast sailing ship built in 1937. This sailingship has a rich history as a cod fishing vessel and sailed mainly in the northern Atlantic ocean. Today you can sail on a cruise in modern comfort. The ship has been thoroughly restored in 2010 thanks to its new owner, the Portuguese group Grupo Jerónimo Martins. With a capacity of up to 50 guests, the sailing ship offers wonderful sailing trips worldwide.
