This trip is all about the journey, not the destination. As a delivery voyage, our goal is simple: bring the Morgenster safely and smoothly back to Den Helder under sail. We’ll set our course north, following the Dutch coastline and adjusting to the wind and weather as we go.

No fancy itinerary, no fixed stops, just the open sea, the sails above, and the sense of purpose that comes with working together on a traditional tall ship.

You’re welcome to join the crew and get hands-on with the sailing, steering at the helm, handling ropes, or standing watch on deck. Or if you’d rather just enjoy the view and feel the ship glide through the waves, that’s perfectly fine too.

Experience the nostalgic feeling of traveling with a tall ship. The Morgenster is a fullblood sailing training ship. The many sails with their halliards, sheets and many lines requires great teamwork. The trainees are full members of the crew. They are involved in all aspects of life at sea. The sensation of real sailing with a rigged clipper brik breeds team spirit, promotes smooth cooperation and trains functional leadership. That is why we provide Sea Experience trips for various schools, nautical schools and the Royal Netherlands Navy.
