This voyage is for those who love the open sea. Leaving the sheltered harbor of Pasaia, we set a course north across the Bay of Biscay, one of Europe’s most storied stretches of water. Depending on wind and weather, we may make a short stop along the way, or sail straight across to the English coast in one bold sweep.

No sailing experience? No problem. The Morgenster’s friendly crew will show you the ropes (literally). You’re welcome to join the watches, help with sail handling, or simply relax on deck and enjoy the thrill of a living, breathing sailing ship beneath your feet.

The many sails with their halliards, sheets and many lines requires great teamwork. The trainees are full members of the crew. They are involved in all aspects of life at sea. The sensation of real sailing with a rigged clipper brik breeds team spirit, promotes smooth cooperation and trains functional leadership. That is why we provide Sea Experience trips for various schools, nautical schools and the Royal Netherlands Navy.
