Sailing the Westcoast of Iceland

The port of Ísafjörður is the main settlement in the Westfjords, the center of the fishing industry in this region and the starting point for an extraordinary sailing trip along Iceland's northwestern peninsula. The small town is surrounded by high cliffs and is a popular starting point for whale watching trips. We explore the fascinating world of fjords and waterfalls that characterize the landscape here, and cruise past the bird cliffs of Látrabjarg, the westernmost point in Europe. The 14-kilometer-long cliff on the coast is home to numerous puffins and other seabirds. The destination of the trip is the port town of Grundarfjörður.

We have 7 days to discover the whole region. We go from bay to bay to the rhythm of nature. The Eye of The Wind is a luxurious sailor with plenty of space and comfort.
