From the historic port city of Antwerp, we set sail northwards – out onto the North Sea, and onward to Kiel. A beautiful voyage for those who love the open horizon, fresh sea air, and the rhythm of wind and water.
Gesproken talen aan boord: Dutch, German, English
This sailing trip begins in the atmospheric port of Antwerp, right in the heart of the city. Once the mooring lines are cast off, we follow the River Scheldt towards the North Sea.
During this voyage, the focus is on the sailing itself: setting the sails, keeping course, and enjoying life on board. There’s plenty of time to relax, read a book, or simply watch the waves glide past the hull.
If weather and time allow, we may visit a charming harbor along the way – perhaps in Zeeland or on the German coast – before finally arriving in Kiel, the gateway to the Baltic Sea.
A journey filled with fresh sea air, teamwork, and the true spirit of seafaring!
Note: Wind and weather can have a strong influence on the trip. We reserve the right to change the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Luggage list
1. It is advised to travel with a travel bag instead of a hard suitcase, since it is better to stow.
2. A passport, if you need it for the planned trip. Otherwise an identity card is sufficient. (inform yourself in advance)
3. Oilskins are not necessary, but a good rainproof jacket, rain trousers and sturdy shoes are always good. Be it for helping on deck or just being outside!
4. Don't forget warm clothing. You never know how long you are outside for. Beautiful moments seem to last for-ever:)
5. A good bok for a bit of solitude or a good parlour game to play together with your fellow sailors.
6. A camera! So that you can capture your memories and share them with those at home.
7. Cash, because here you can only pay your drinks bill in cash. But also think about the currency of the country you are travelling to so you can buy a souvenir.
Tips
Good to know: We have two types of cabins on the Antigua; the standard cabins with bunk beds, shower and toilet and the more spacious comfort cabins with seperate single beds, shower and toilet. There are therfore two different cabin prices on the Antigua. Would you like to travel alone and not share a cabin? Then you can book a single supplement, which corresponds to the normal cruise price + 50%.

Artemis
Bouwjaar 1926
The triple masted barque Artemis is a beautiful example of maritime tradition. The ship was built in Norway in 1926 as a whaler. She then served as a freighter transporting goods between Asia and South-America. Since 2001 the Artemis returned to sail in european waters, honouring the great maritime tradition of the Netherlands.
