The Twister is a fast sailing vessel that sails mainly at sea. And sea sailing is in fact a sport that requires some perseverance. Especially with the longer trips. You do not have to be a 'born sailor' to sign on to the Twister. Our experienced crew ensures that our guests are given the space to participate in everything that happens on board. Standing behind the rudder, setting the sails, learning how to navigate and how all the equipment works. Make new friends, but also enjoy the time to be on yourself and stare at the sea. Discover the beauty of the game. Discover the ship and the forces of nature, the wind, the waves that bring you into another dimension of consciousness.

INDIVIDUAL TRIPS OR GROUP?
Our arrangements for 12 people are all-in.
Included are: stay on board the Twister, bed linen, final cleaning, port, bridge and lock fees, tourist taxes and fuel costs. Full board; breakfast, lunch, and dinner, fruit, coffee & tea and snacks.
Not included are: the round trip to the Twister, towels, drinks on board, travel and cancellation insurance.
CHARTER
Arrangements for 20 people, charter, rent the whole ship, assume their own catering.
With a group of 20 people, buying and taking care of the meals is always done by the people themselves. The ships galley is at your disposal. If necessary, we can always help you with the groceries and advise on the purchases.
Included are: the stay on board the Twister, tourist taxes, coffee and tea.
Not included are: the outward and return journeys to the Twister, bed linen, towels, drinks, travel and cancellation insurance, harbor fees, and fuel costs.
With individual bookings it is possible to book a two-person cabin for yourself alone. In that case, we use an additional cost of 190 € per day. It is also possible to share a cabin with other guests, we do this in good consultation and in alignment with your wishes. Cabins for two, three and four people are available.
HISTORY
In 1902 the original fishing ship was built out of wood. Fifty-five years later the wooden hull was replaced by a steel hull. The ship continued to operate as a modern fishing vessel until 1981 and quickly brought the fish from other ships to the fish auction.
After the ship had been in various harbors for 17 years, Andre personally adapted the hull to the modern schooner yacht that the Twister is now. After the baptism in May 1999 the ship came into service under the name Twister and since then she has proven herself one of the fastest sailing ships in the Northern sailing area.
